the canopy of green, the aerial bird dances
i don't know how they follow each other so closely
something bout the magnetic pull the compass in their brain, i don't know

well i hope the pain subsides and you continue your improving
strengthen all your ties and live a life that's soothing
you're strong as the lion from the painting you restored in Kansas City
the one from the circus, so meticulously

Your sculptures are on par with the finest in this whole world
the alligator gar, with his teeth replaced with pearls
or the midget with the ace of hearts on a pedestal of cards
or the wolverine with a box to reveal its' heart

the years we lived and died
