Bumming around the downtown of Laramie
The streets are quiet like all of Wyoming
The trains rumble through breaking the silence
While the rest of the world is chaos and violence
It’s peaceful here most of the year
A man in a cowboy hat selling me beer
He looks like Wyatt Earp out in the courtyard
He’s talking like he won the west
I know he did, well i guess
Ancient steel walking bridge over the railroad track
I fell in love it’s just like a heart attack
I couldn’t breathe, i looked in her eye
It’s in this kind of thing that in death is defied
It’s peaceful here most of the year
The stars are so close and the moon is sincere
I can’t complain about what all had gone
I was just chasing a song
How the hell could that be wrong?
I want to go on the pack trip to Yellowstong
I picked the city of roses alone
It’s one big volcano with plenty of buffalo
A ladybug rock and a late summer snow
It’s peaceful there most of the year
Old Faithful blows and the seniors all stare
Wolves chase the elk on down to the plains
Is Gardner, Montana still the same
Love that place in the rain
We’ll fly through canyons and mountains of glory
I’m a Western Tanager and i know the story
Of the water and the rain, the wind on the plain
And all of the changes will all be the same

Just saw them performing much of this album on their west coast tour. San Diego and Pioneertown dates. Didn’t know any of them lol. I’m all about their old shit but I like this. Playing it more and more. Appreciate the evolution of one of my favorite bands in the world since middle school! 🖤 Red

As I listen to this album more and more I start discover aspects that I hadn't felt before. My love for every individual track continues to grow, but Change has remained in my heart as a deep drive to get me through the day. seonghi
