There’s a man whose daughter had died
I believe it was in Gainesville
He bought a cooler and he put her inside
Went to Brownsville revival
And he asked the congregation
If they could bring her back for him
He was looking for a miracle
But it just didn’t happen
Just didn’t happen
And chameleons
cling to the screens
Beaches like snow
Holy ghost dreams
And the Brownsville revival
Gonna save every single soul
So send your dead children
So they could revive them from the grave
Everyone kneel down and pray
The Gulf of Mexico
Is a clear and aqua blue
The clouds hung wispy and low
With a red blood rusty hue
From the lights of Pensacola
hear the rush of the Navy jets
They waiting for the rapture
But it hadn’t happened yet
Place your bets
there’s a man with a cross
Stands on the bridge
Glaring at the traffic
I wonder what it did
The Brownsville revival
Gonna save every single soul
So send your dead children
So they could revive them
From the grave
Everyone kneel down and pray

Just saw them performing much of this album on their west coast tour. San Diego and Pioneertown dates. Didn’t know any of them lol. I’m all about their old shit but I like this. Playing it more and more. Appreciate the evolution of one of my favorite bands in the world since middle school! 🖤 Red

As I listen to this album more and more I start discover aspects that I hadn't felt before. My love for every individual track continues to grow, but Change has remained in my heart as a deep drive to get me through the day. seonghi
